98 The Beach

Megan Johnson

Morning News Co-Host

Above all things I love my dog Lucy. I love traveling and exploring the world with my husband and friends. I love playing baseball, dodgeball and soccer.

My grandparents met on the Port Elgin Main Beach Break Wall and subsequently purchased a cottage near the beach. My summers growing up consisted of catching tadpoles at the Town Pond near my grandparents cottage, exploring trails and having long days on the beach hiding from seagulls. I’m happy to call Saugeen Shores my forever home.

Although this is my first time as radio co-host I got my feet wet in the world of radio as a promotions representative for a few radio stations in Toronto, the job  mainly consisted of finding parking in the city for large SUV’s covered in Katy Perry’s face.

For the past few years I’ve worked in print and digital journalism. I’m enjoying learning new skills and drinking many double doubles in the morning.
