I was raised just east of Toronto in Pickering, ON. My interest in broadcasting began at the tender young age of 5 years old, where I'd often mimic local radio news anchors (1010 CFRB, Toronto) and pretend I was one of them.
I didn't begin my radio broadcast career until I was in my early 30's - but hey, you know what they say! "It's never too late to follow your passion and dream!"
I've reported and anchored the news throughout Ontario (in Peterborough & The Kawarthas, Cobourg, and Midwestern Ontario at CKNX) and also worked as reporter & news anchor for an all News/Talk/Sports station in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in Kelowna, British Columbia.
I'm a drummer, singer, guitar player, calligrapher, traveller and lover of life.
I love craft beers. I'm proud of my Scottish heritage. I love using my voice.
I'm currently writing a book. Me in a nutshell.
Favourite Quote? Not sure. But I live by this:
"Life is to short. Don't take it for granted, LIVE IT."
