The Owen Sound Attack coughed up a third period lead in losing the first of a three-game northern road trip.
Justin Brazeau was the overtime hero, re-directing the game-winning goal past Mack Guzda on a power play as North Bay rallied to beat the Attack 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.
RIley Bruce and Matthew Struthers also scored for for North Bay (16-19-5-1), which overcame a 2-0 deficit with eight minutes to play in regulation with two goals in a span of 52 seconds.
Brady Lyle scored both goals for Owen Sound (16-16-2-5).
Julian Sime made 30 saves in the win, while Guzda stopped 14 taking the loss.
Owen Sound outshot North Bay 32-17 while going 0 for 3 on the power play; North Bay finished 1 for 3.
The Attack are back in action tonight against the OHL's top team, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (35-3-2-1).
According to Bayshore Broadcasting Sports Director Fred Wallace, the Greyhounds have points in 27 consecutive games.
