Multiple Charges After Vehicle Found in Ditch in Kincardine

Three occupants from the London area were located nearby and arrested without incident

Numerous charges have been laid after South Bruce OPP were called to a pick-up truck found in a ditch alongHwy 9 in Kincardine Township.

On Monday, (Jan 6, 2020) just before 11 a.m., officers arrived and discovered  the pick-up truck's licence plates had been reported stolen.

Police say three occupants from the London area were located nearby and arrested without incident. All three were held in custody until their bail hearing the next day.

A 44-year-old man from London was charged with Impaired Driving, 2 counts of Driving while under Suspension, 2 counts of Possessing a Controlled Substance, Open Alcohol, Cannabis Readily Available, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of Break-In Instruments.

A 26-years-old man of Thames Centre was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Break-In Instruments, Fail to Comply with Recognizance and Fail to Comply with Probation Order. 

And a  25-years-old man, from London was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of Break-In Instruments.
