The Shallow Lake Sting (5-1) downed Newfoundland Selects 9-4, but then suffered its first loss of a tournament in a tight 10-9 setback against K-W Twins.

Belmore Sting (5-1) kept rolling along with wins over Napanee 4-3 and Colchester (N.S.) 8-2.
