It is the Hanover Library’s biggest event of the year - the annual Book Sale.
With over seven thousand books and items to choose from, Chief Librarian Agnes Rivers-Moore says there is something for everyone.
All of the books are categorized, clean and in very good condition.
Best of all everyone can afford this book sale, as there are no set prices.
You simply pick up what you want and leave a donation.
This is a very popular event, so the earlier you come the better says Rivers-Moore.
The Book Sale is located in the community hall which is in the Civic Centre across the hall from the library.
Many of the books have been donated by the public or are books that the library has taken out of circulation.
All proceeds from the event goes to support library operations.
Last year’s book sale raised about 4 thousand dollars for the library.
This is a huge event, Rivers-Moore says the library has been preparing for it for quite some time.
Whether its crime, fantasy, children’s stories, recipe books fact of fiction, Rivers-Moore says the Book Sale has it all.
Along with books there are also dvd’s and music to choose from.
Book Sale hours coincide with library hours: Saturday 9 to 5 and Sunday 1 to 5 pm.
