Under 11 to Under 19

Girls Field Lacrosse

The Owen Sound Tom Hall’s  North Stars Under 19 girls spilt their games in Ontario’s Women’s Field Lacrosse League play, 

Saturday in Brampton The team defeated Kawartha  score of 16-8. 

Kennedy Stauffer scoring 5 goals, Karyia Beach scoring 4, Ryleigh Elliott 2  and Tara Meikle, Jamie Carr, Franny Alpajaro, Heather Keery and Jordan Kosempel picking up singles.

Owen Sound lost to Orillia 1  score of 16-7. 

Tara Meikle and Ryleigh Elliott scoring 2 goals and Reese Wilkins, Kennedy Stauffer and Karyia Beach scoring a singles.

The team is next in action Saturday June   18 th in Halton Hills.
 


Under 19 Owen Sound-2 Girls Field Lacrosse Team has continued with their strong start to the season with 2 more wins on Saturday in Brampton improving to a 5-0 record. 

Game 1 over Oakville-2 with a score of 10-3 followed by 14-2 over Orillia-2. 

 


The Owen Sound European Bakery Café Under 15 girls field lacrosse team played two games in Brampton on Saturday, first against Kawartha, beating them 12 to 2, goal scorers include; Karly Low with 5, Cassidy Low with 2, Emma Bryan with 3, and Maddie Linklater and Dani Strong with 1.

The second game was against  Mimico beating them 16 to 0, Goal scorers include; Karly Low with 3, Cassidy Low with 5, Emma Bryan with 4, Ariawna Jackon with 2,  and Dani Strong, and Coutney Scott with one.

The girls play again next weekend in Halton Hills.

 

The Owen Sound Firefighters Under 11A girls were in action for two games in Ontario’s Women’s Field Lacrosse league play Sunday in Brampton. 

The team was defeated by Halton Hills #1 11-5 with Adassia Clock starting the scoring with 2 goals and Bree Wilkins leading the scoring with 3 goals. 

In their second matchup, Owen Sound played a physical game to come out with 8-2 win over Orillia #1. 

Northstars goals were scored by Bree Wilkins 5, London Doyle 2 and Leah Cooper 1.

The team is next in action Saturday June 8th and Sunday June 9th in Halton Hills.

 

The Owen Sound 2 Northstars MacKinnon Plumbing and Heating Umder 11 Girls tied and lost in Ontario Women’s Field Lacrosse action Sunday in Brampton. 

Owen Sound first played Halton Hills 2 in a tight match with a tie score of 5-5. 
Northstars goals were scored by Ella Todd (2), Lily Shute, Adalyn Jackson and Addison McCoubrey. 

In their second game, Owen Sound lost to Orillia 2 with a score of 3-2. Alexis Sutherland and Lily Shute scored for Owen Sound. 

The team is next in action on Saturday and Sunday, in Halton Hills.
