Maksim Sushko finished what he started.
The Attack forward scored two goals as Owen Sound edged the visiting Windsor Spitfires 4-3 in overtime on Saturday night.
Sushko's first goal opened the scoring at the 7:02 mark of the first period for a 1-0 Attack lead.
The Spitfires would take a 3-2 lead with 7:15 left in the third period but Connor Corcoran went off on a hooking penalty and Barret Kirwin would score on the ensuing power play to tie the game at 3-3.
That goal sent the game into overtime where Corcoran took another hooking penalty with 2:12 remaining.
Sushko would fire in a pass from Trent Bourque for his second goal of the game and help snap the Attack's 2-game losing streak.
Aidan Dudas had a goal and two assists while Mack Guzda stopped 26 shots for the Attack (24-22-2-2).
The Spitfires (21-27-3-1) got goals from Chase Campbell, Jean-Luc Foudy, and Tyler Angle while Colton Incze made 27 saves in the loss .
Power plays saw Owen Sound go 2-for-5, Windsor went 1-for-7.
The next game for the Attack is this Thursday night (7th) when they head to Barrie to play the Colts.
